Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Engineer (Commercial): The competitors must have completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Marine Engineering for three years from a State Board of Technical Education. The competitor should have post qualification experience in a Dockyard or Shipyard or Marine Engineering Company or Coast Guard or Indian Navy of seven years. There must be experience in Estimation in Shipbuilding/ Commercial/ Ship repair of two years, out of seven years. Two years ought to be in directing the boat building or boat fix works and workers out of seven years.
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): The competitors must have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of three years from a State Board of Technical Education. The competitor should have post qualification experience in a Dockyard or Shipyard or Government Establishment or Engineering Company. 02 years ought to be in administering mechanical works and laborers out of seven years.

Age Limit:
