Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant Engineer (Commercial): The competitors must have completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Marine Engineering for three years from a State Board of Technical Education. The competitor should have post qualification experience in a Dockyard or Shipyard or Marine Engineering Company or Coast Guard or Indian Navy of seven years. There must be experience in Estimation in Shipbuilding/ Commercial/ Ship repair of two years, out of seven years. Two years ought to be in directing the boat building or boat fix works and workers out of seven years.
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): The competitors must have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of three years from a State Board of Technical Education. The competitor should have post qualification experience in a Dockyard or Shipyard or Government Establishment or Engineering Company. 02 years ought to be in administering mechanical works and laborers out of seven years.
Age Limit:
