Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 eligibility criteria:
Age limit: The age limit of the candidates must be 18- 28 years
Educational qualifications:
The candidate should hold Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics/Computer Science/ Instrumentation/ Information Technology/ Mechatronics/ Communications/Data Sciences/Commerce /Computer Applications/ Computer Sciences/Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work/ Management/ Forensic Science/ Civil Engineering
Payscale:
- For Sub Inspector: Rs. 35400/-
- For Constable: Rs. 19900/-
Experience type: Fresher
Tenure Type: Permanent
Application fees: The application fees can be submitted via Credit/ Debit card or Net banking or through any UPI mode with the application form
For Sub Inspector:
- Rs 1100/- : SC/ BC/ST/ EWS
- Rs 900/-: Lineal Descendants/Ex-Servicemen
- Rs. 2000/-: For all other candidates
For Constable:
- Rs 800/-: SC/ BC/ST/ EWS
- Rs 700/-: Lineal Descendants/Ex-Servicemen
- Rs. 1500/-: For all other candidates
Selection procedure: The selection process consists of two stages:
- Stage 1 includes Written-test (Test 1, Test 2)
- Stage 2 includes the Physical Screening Test, Physical Measurement Test, and Document Scrutiny.

Physical Screening Test for Constable/ Sub Inspector
For Male Candidates (Ex-Servicemen) :
For candidates up to 35 years of age:
- 08 Full Squats
- 1400 m walking and running to needs to be done in 12 minutes
For candidates more than 35 years of age:
- 05 Full Squats
- 1400 m walking and running to needs to be done in 15 minutes
For Male Candidates :
- Long Jump 2.00 Meters (3 chances)
- 1200 Meters Race needs to be done in 09 minutes
- High Jump 0.70 Meters (3 chances)
For Female Candidates:
- Long Jump 1.50 Meters (3 chances)
- 800 Meters Race needs to be done in 06 minutes
- High Jump 0.50 Meters (3 chances)
For Female candidates(Ex-servicemen):
For Candidates up to 35 years of age
- 05 Full Squats
- 700 Meters Walk and Run needs to be done in 07 minutes
For Candidates greater than 35 years of age
- 03 Full Squats
- 700 Meters Walk and Run needs to be done in 09 minutes
Application Procedure:
- Online mode is preferred for submission of the application form
- Fill up the application form carefully so that there are no mistakes in it
- Scanned signature and passport size photograph needs to be uploaded in the application form
- Submit the application form
