Educational Qualifications:
- For SSC (Tech) Entry In Indian Army: The candidate should hold B.Tech Degree /B.E. / M.Sc Degree from a recognized university
- For widows of defence personnel entry: The candidate must be a Graduate or should hold an Engineering degree
- The final year students can also apply for this post

Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be through SSB Interview
Application fee: No application fee is to be paid
Pay Scale:
- For Women/ Men Cadets During Training: Monthly Stipend of Rs. 56,100/-
- On Commission In Indian Army As Lieutenant: Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) will be payable to the candidates
- The aspirants who are Appointed As a Lieutenant In Indian Army Through SSC (Tech) Entry will be allowed various allowances such as Flying allowance (Where Applicable), High Altitude Allowance, Military Service Pay, Para Alice, etc.
Age limit:
- For SSC (Tech)- 58 Men: The candidate must be within 20-27 years age limit till 1st April 2022. The candidates born after 2nd April 1995 and before 1st April 2002 will be considered (including both the dates).
- For SSC (Tech)- 29 Women: The candidate must be within 20-27 years age limit till 1st April 2022. The candidates born after 2nd April 1995 and before 1st April 2002 will be considered (including both the dates).
- For Widows of Defence Personnel Only: The candidate must be equal to or less than 35 years by 1st April 2022
